Goodall-Witcher Nursing Facility is a Long Term Care Nursing Facility licensed and certified by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Admission is available to those who wish to self-pay as well as those needing financial assistance through the Texas Medicaid Program.

We are somewhat unique as many of the services our residents require are “just down the hall” – a convenience not normally associated with nursing facilities.

• We are located within the same building complex as the hospital with its diagnostic services such as lab and x-ray
• We are located within same building complex as the medical clinic and each resident’s personal physician.
• An ambulance is not required in the event “emergency services” are needed
• We are a small 40-bed facility – a feature which allows residents, families and staff to develop personal as well as professional relationships.

Our interdisciplinary approach to the resident’s individualized plan of care begins with 24-hour nursing services from qualified nursing personnel to meet the residents total nursing needs and a dietician to meet nutritional needs. Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapies are available through on-staff personnel for the resident requiring rehabilitation after an injury or illness. An Activity Director, with the assistance of volunteers from the community, provides crafts, bible studies, Sunday church services, and numerous activities to assist the resident in retaining a Life of Quality.

We are honored to use the names Goodall and Witcher as they have been synonymous with excellence and stability in health care in Bosque and surrounding counties since 1939. The Tradition of Excellence begun by Drs. V.D. Goodall and S.L. Witcher and their vision and dedication to Caring for the Community continues to thrive and is firmly ingrained in the philosophy of Goodall-Witcher Nursing Facility.
