‘Generations Garden’ Part of Construction and
Renovation Project at Goodall-Witcher

As part of the new construction and renovations underway at Goodall-Witcher Healthcare Foundation, a Generations Garden will be placed outside the hospital. The garden will include a “Birthday Brick” area designed to recognize those born at Goodall-Witcher. “The ‘birthday bricks’ include space for a person’s name and birth date, and will be placed in the Generations Garden,” said Clarence Fields, Jr., President/CEO. “The landscaped area is still in the design process, but the garden will be a celebration of birth and life. We want it to be a soothing place you can go to when you are visiting someone in our hospital.”

Bricks for those not born at Goodall-Witcher but wishing to memorialize an individual living or deceased are also available. Fields said those bricks will be in an accent color and design that will highlight the garden area.

Priced at $100, the bricks are available for purchase on the website or by contacting Administrative Secretary Connie Hodges at 254.675.8322 or via email at chodges@gwhf.org. Proceeds from the brick sales will benefit the ongoing fund-raising campaign, and organizers believe the brick campaign ties in well with the fundraising theme of “The Next Generation in Healthcare”.
